TBLF Lawyers Win $2.9M Arbitration Award

The Byrd Law Firm lawyers Jason M. Byrd and Amy Sanderson Guseman secured an arbitration award for over $2.9M today. The award, in addition to amounts recovered on behalf of their client prior to the arbitration, totaled nearly $3.4M in gross recovery. The underlying dispute involved a property insurance claim where TBLF’s client had been paid nothing on the claim prior to our lawyers’ involvement. The Plaintiff had made claims for breach of contract, violation of the Texas Insurance Code and breach of the duty of good faith and fair dealing.
